There is currently bombing and fighting in Nikolaev,\u201d David reported.<\/p>\n<p>Little Maxim was embraced by the Ararat Primary School community, Principal Ryan Oliver said on Thursday morning \u2013 Maxim\u2019s first day of school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe school is very excited to have him there. They are also trying to get funding for uniforms and so on,\u201d David said.<\/p>\n<p>School families have donated children\u2019s clothing to the newcomers.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, David\u2019s son Charlie is the same age as his cousin Maxim, and they are in the same class together at school.<\/p>\n<p>Young Charlie firmly held his cousin, who does not speak English, by the hand as he entered class for the first time on Thursday morning under the watchful eye of Prep teacher Jess Smart.<\/p>\n<p>Sasha only speaks limited English and must rely on Google Translate to communicate now she is in Australia.
