Since their last meeting with Minyip-Murtoa, the Rats have become no strangers to nail-biting finishes; featuring in four matches decided by two goals or less<\/p>\n
Ararat rectified a 20-point quarter time deficit to defeat Southern-Mallee by 28 points last week.<\/p>\n
The Rats dominated after quarter time, with the Giants only having four shots on goal for the remaining three quarters to Ararat\u2019s 25.<\/p>\n
Despite a heavy breeze and inaccurate kicking, Taylor says the team showed \u201cgreat maturity\u201d to not get frustrated.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe maturity we showed in that quarter was unbelievable. I think it\u2019s some of the best footy we\u2019ve played all year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just need to remember when we play our best and everyone is doing their role we can match it with anyone. When things aren\u2019t going our way, we just need to remember that if we do what we can control hopefully the rest can take care of itself.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt can be frustrating, it\u2019s like some of the AFL games when you see some of the goalkicking accuracy there, but if you keep putting up good high numbers, like inside 50s, hopefully it helps you prevail.
