Hundreds of people poured into the Russell T White Raceway on Sunday for a traditional country show featuring rides, showbags, cooking displays, crafts and photography.<\/p>\n
The tractor pull continued to attract a big crowd throughout the day and the return of horse events was another addition to a packed program.<\/p>\n
The show also had entertainment for the kids including the Mik Macs and a puppet show as well as the introduction of wrestling.<\/p>\n
Show Society President Gwenda Allgood said it was a superb day.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were absolutely thrilled. The numbers were well up and the gate was well up. Everybody was happy with what went on and the return of the horses was certainly a bonus for us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was so much there for people to see and do. It was pretty spectacular, the whole day, and the weather was perfect.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had new things come on like the video games and the rises. Everything just worked out perfectly.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mrs Allgood said the return of horse events was a real drawcard.<\/p>\n
