LADY golfers have done their bit to help kick off this year\u2019s Ararat Emergency Relief Christmas Appeal.<\/p>\n
Lady golfers from Chalambar and Willaura clubs played at Willaura recently donating the $700 proceeds of the day to Ararat Emergency Relief.<\/p>\n
Ararat Emergency Relief Committee put in an extraordinary effort each Christmas to ensure local families in need don\u2019t miss out.<\/p>\n
The annual toy collection sees hundreds of new toys donated which are then given to local children of struggling families.<\/p>\n
They also prepare over 100 Christmas food hampers for local families each Christmas.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need the community to assist us again this year with donations of money and toys,\u201d committee member Marilyn Brady said.<\/p>\n
