TOYS have begun arriving for the annual Ararat Relief Committee Toy Appeal.<\/p>\n
Ararat residents have always been incredibly generous towards the appeal and this year will be no exception.<\/p>\n
New toys are being sought for children up to 14 years old, which can be left at the Ararat Advocate office (next to the Post Office) or Ararat Police Station.<\/p>\n
Cash donations can only be made at the Ararat Advocate office where a receipt will be issued.<\/p>\n
Last year, over 1,000 toys were donated to the appeal.<\/p>\n
The appeal is run each year by the Ararat Relief Committee, made up of representatives of five local churches.<\/p>\n
In addition, K-Hub is also running its Wishing Tree Appeal, with toys to be donated to the Salvation Army.<\/p>\n
