GREATER Ararat Business Network is doing its bit to support Ararat\u2019s hospitality businesses by \u00a0purchasing a number of vouchers to distribute to members.<\/p>\n
President Maria Whitford and members of the committee have been out in recent weeks delivering the ten dollar vouchers to GABN members.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve gone out and purchased them locally, we\u2019ve used GABN funds to support our locals and we\u2019re giving them to our members so they can go and spend locally as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe idea is to encourage our members to go into some of our hospitality businesses, use their voucher and hopefully spend a little bit more,\u201d Ms Whitford said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe all have a role to play supporting local businesses and this is one small way of us leading by example,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s also a small token of our appreciation to the businesses who are members of GABN,\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve mainly bought vouchers from hospitality businesses but also the Astor Cinema as well. We also went a bit further afield with vouchers from the likes of Pomonal Estate, Moyston Store, we didn\u2019t just go up and down the main street of Ararat,\u201d Ms Whitford said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
