FOLLOWING last year\u2019s success, Ararat families will again be able to enjoy a family carnival later this month.<\/p>\n
The carnival will be at a new venue \u2013 Kokoda Public Reserve \u2013 and will offer a fun, safe event for people of all ages.<\/p>\n
Running from the 18th<\/sup> to the 20th<\/sup> of February, the carnival will offer families all sorts or rides and amusements including dodgem cars, jumping castles, twister cha cha, Wallygator Kids Ride, Bungee trampolines and the ultimate party machine.<\/p>\n Carnival spokeswoman Christine Woodall said her team are looking forward to entertaining the Ararat community once again.<\/p>\n \u201cWe really enjoyed coming to Ararat and not only is it a beautiful city, we discovered it has lots of beautiful restaurants,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re at Kokoda Public Reserve, we would have preferred the previous location (Gordon Street) but there is work going on there,\u201d Ms Woodall said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe would like to get more people along to the fireworks. People don\u2019t realise, it costs a lot to put on the fireworks and we would love more people to come to the carnival on the Saturday night to enjoy them.\u201d<\/p>\n The carnival will be held over three days – Friday 18th February 5pm-10.30pm, Saturday 19th February 12pm-10.30pm and Sunday 20th February 11am-5pm.<\/p>\n The fireworks display will be held at 9.30 on Saturday night and pet owners near Kokoda Public Reserve are asked to make sure their animals are restrained.<\/p>\n Admission is $2 per person.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" FOLLOWING last year\u2019s success, Ararat families will again be able to enjoy a family carnival later this month.
