TOYS have begun arriving for the annual Ararat Relief Committee Toy Appeal.
Ararat residents have always been incredibly generous towards the appeal and this year will be no exception.
New toys are being sought for children up to 14 years old, which can be left at the Ararat Advocate office (next to the Post Office) or Ararat Police Station.
Cash donations can only be made at the Ararat Advocate office where a receipt will be issued.
Last year, over 1,000 toys were donated to the appeal.
Buy the The Ararat Advocate print edition, which has full coverage of all the region’s news and sport.
The appeal is run each year by the Ararat Relief Committee, made up of representatives of five local churches.
In addition, K-Hub is also running its Wishing Tree Appeal, with toys to be donated to the Salvation Army.
The Salvos will then donate those toys to the relief committee.
