Rotary helps flood effort

ARARAT Rotary Club is helping flood impacted areas of New South Wales and Queensland by co-ordinating the collection of pet food.

The local club is assisting Alfredton Rotary Club, which intends sending a semi-trailer of pet food to flood impacted areas later this month.

Ararat Rotary is urging members of the local community to make donations of food for all types of animals, particularly dog, cat and rabbit.

Pet food can be left at the Ararat Advocate office at 93a Barkly Street (next to the Post Office) from Monday to Friday.

Donations can be made up until the 23rd of March.

Buy the The Ararat Advocate print edition, which has full coverage of all the region’s news and sport.

Larger quantities of pet food can be collected by Rotary members.
