AN Ararat man is looking forward to relaxing into his retirement after scoring $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The man won the guaranteed 1st prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10597, drawn on Wednesday 22 June 2022.
The life-enhancing entry of two random numbers was purchased at Ararat’s Harris Newsagency.
Following the draw, an official from The Lott contacted the Ararat resident to share the news.
“I can’t believe this,” he exclaimed.

“I just started playing Lucky Lotteries about five weeks ago and now I’ve won the 1st Prize I can’t wait to share the winning news with my family,” he said.
“I don’t really have any plans for the win, but I’m retired so it’s going to take a bit of the pressure off.”
Harris Newsagency has been a family owned business in Ararat for more than 65 years and proprietor Joy Harris said she was thrilled by the news.
“Over the years we have sold several first division prizes in Tattslotto but this is our first in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot Draw,” Joy said.
“It’s absolutely marvellous to know the $100,000 first prize was won by one of our loyal and local customers,” she said.
Harris Newsagency team member Karen Billet, who sold the winning ticket, said she was “stoked”.
“Oh, how wonderful. I’m stoked because I’m sure it was me who sold him the winning ticket to the customer,” she said.
“We’ve never sold a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot first prize before. We hope this is the start of many more,” Karen said.
