The Mobile Blood Bank will be visiting Ararat next month and initially 70 appointments were made available.
However, by 10am Friday all appointments had been booked, prompting the Red Cross to extend its visit.
The Mobile Blood Bank will extend its visit to Ararat by another day to cope with the large number of local residents wanting to donate blood.
