COUNCIL are seeking expressions of interest from potential stallholders for the Ararat Rural City Christmas Market.
The Market is to be held over two days in early December at the Ararat Town Hall.
There will be an evening session on Friday 6 December from 4pm to 7pm, and a day session on Saturday 7 December from 10am to 2pm.
Stalls are to be a standard 3 metres x 3 metres size.
Power can be provided, however any other equipment stallholders require (chairs, tables, display racks) is the shallholder’s own responsibility.
Buy the The Ararat Advocate print edition, which has full coverage of all the region’s news and sport.
Interested parties can lodge their interest in the 2024 Christmas Market at the dedicated Engage Ararat page: https://engage.ararat.vic.gov.au/expressions-interest-ararat-christmas-market-2024
When filling out an application, potential stallholders should be prepared to provide details of power requirements, including the device type(s) they wish to run at their stall.
“The Christmas Market is a brilliant way for local businesses to showcase their unique products, connect with the community, and boost holiday sales,” said Ararat Rural City Council CEO Dr Tim Harrison.
“We anticipate a lively event with an array of products for purchase, so even if you aren’t a potential stallholder, put the market dates in your diary. You don’t want to miss your chance to support our local traders, get your Christmas shopping done, and enjoy the community’s Christmas spirit all in one go.”
