THREE new people will join Ararat Rural City Council after the final votes were tallied yesterday from Octobers council election.
Seven councillors were confirmed by the Victorian Electoral Commission at 3pm yesterday.
They are first time councillors Teli Kaur, Peter Joyce and Luke Preston along with incumbents Jo Armstrong, Bob Sanders, Bill Waterston and Rob Armstrong.
Cr Peter Beales was defeated.
