IT has been a week of celebrations for Ararat’s Bruna Fratin, who has just notched up 90 years.
Bruna came to Australia in 1956 from Asolo, Italy to be with her sweetheart Lino Fratin who was already in Ararat.
They married two months after her arrival at Ararat’s Catholic Church and went on to have five children.
At the weekend, Lina celebrated her birthday with her family and then had a second catchup with friends during the week.
The occasion was made even more special with a surprise visit from a cousin residing in Griffith New South Wales. It was the first time the pair had seen each other in around 30 years.
