60 years in love
ARARAT’s Lois and Peter Williams recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, tying the knot back in 1964.
Their romance blossomed in the traditional Ararat-Stawell way, with Lois recalling how, in those days, “The boys went to Stawell to get the girls, and the Stawell boys would come down here.”
Lois used to visit Ararat for the dances at Alexandra Hall, and it was one of those evenings where their story began.
Welcome baby Gracie
Jessie and Koby Stewart have welcomed their daughter, Gracie Val Stewart. Baby Gracie was born at East Grampians Health Service on September 23 2024, weighing 3272 grams. “Thank you to all the amazing midwives and staff at EGHS for our amazing care,” Jessie and Kobie Stewart said.
